Find a way to have more self compassion and calm your mind…

We all have a tendency to be our own worst critic. Let me be your advocate and show you a kinder, gentler way to treat the most important person in your life.

I offer individual psychological therapy to address common difficulties such as low mood, panic, anxiety, depression or PTSD. I am a Clinical Psychologist trained in a range of evidence based approaches. The most important thing is to have time to share your experiences and be heard. Together we can find an approach that suits you and makes positive change in your life…

Improve your relationship with others

Be your best self, alone and with others. Lucy can help you to establish, improve and nurture relationships in your life. Lucy’s Place is a community project offering professional evidence based psychological therapy from an accredited Clinical Psychologist. It is also a chance to join a supportive community. We have online blogs and resources to help you at this difficult time in your life.

In addition thanks to funding from Crystal Rigg Community Fund we delighted to offer community support in the form of Community Wellbeing activities in the outdoors. This will allows support to three groups: Those receiving therapy at Lucy’s Place CIC, those seeking free NHS psychological therapy and residents of the Garvald and Morham area whom may not be seeking psychological therapy but do wish to get involved to improve their wellbeing.

The Community approach is a chance to get together with like-minded people and do fun and rewarding activities in beautiful surroundings. We will be launching full details at an event on Wednesday 20th March 18:30-19:30 in Garvald Village Hall. We hope to see you there. If you cant make the evening please get in touch to find out more.

“Lucy taught me so much about a subject I thought I was already an expert on: myself!”
